Almost Home
Unfortunately, I have returned from Costa Rica and I am currently in Boston for a few more days until I return home to PEI once again. I have many more photos and memories to share, but I am going to wait until I have more time once I get home. Hope you guys don't mind, but there is more to come.

For Margaret.
This was a personal request from a great friend of mine. More like my sister from another mister :)
All Gone. :) |
The less important view. |
Even on a cloudy day, the Heladeria makes me smile. Just ice cream makes me smile. It´s Ice Cream, what isnt there to smile about? |
My EMBARRASSING day of fishing!
Last weekend, I went fishing. Not PEI fishing, line and hook fishing from a little pond. Whenever you catch a trout they cook it up and serve it to you with french fries, rice etc. Well my sister, her friend, and I were there for over 2 and a half hours and didnt catch a single fish. Fortunately, I caught many cases of the giggles and burst out laughing over nothing. You know those times, right?
Then when we went to an even smaller pond like maybe the size of three bathtubs, that is almost guaranteed a catch, I still couldnt catch anything. On top of that, I stood ontop of an ant hill with the most vicious ants that bit my feet gazillions of times.
Finally, we gave up and then men working there said they caught three fish and we could use those and we agreed. Two minutes after, my sister´s friend actually caught one. I am not afraid of fish, well I didnt think I was, until I tried to hold it by myself for a picture. I let go by accident and the squiggling fish went up into the air and I grabbed at it again because surely we didnt want the ONLY fish we caught to go right back where it came from. So I reached for it, and someone snagged the slippery (slippy) fish against the stomach of her friend so that it couldnt get away.
No need to say, then came the howls of laughter from me. Only something like this would happen to me of course. My life is never boring, and I guess I really am a Clutz like my mom always calls me. Oh well. It was fun and the fish was delish (after I picked out every single spine from it) !!

Sorry I totally thought I could rotate them on here. Perhaps you will have to tilt your head. |

This is the SMALL pond, that I COULD NOT catch a fish in. Sigh. |
This was the hysterics, AFTER I let go of the fish and recaught it in the air. |

The root system fascinates me. It´s a wonder that the palm tree can stay up at all! |
My family and friends |
You know how in the summer when it´s really hot, you can see the heat waves come off of the asphalt? Well here I tried to take a picture of the heat escaping from the sand. |

Surfers taking advantage of the waves |
