For Margaret.

This was a personal request from a great friend of mine. More like my sister from another mister :)

The Heladeria( Ice Cream shop) has the best view, and I am not
talking about the mountains ;)

And yes, I had to zoom in like crazy to get this photo and looked like a
stalker, so Margaret you should be proud because I know you would
do the same. I can see you laughing about it actually.

All Gone. :)

The less important view.

Even on a cloudy day, the Heladeria makes me smile. Just ice cream makes me smile.

It´s Ice Cream, what isnt there to smile about?

Flowers. And lots of them!

My floral obsession, here it is.

My EMBARRASSING day of fishing!

Last weekend, I went fishing. Not PEI fishing, line and hook fishing from a little pond. Whenever you catch a trout they cook it up and serve it to you with french fries, rice etc. Well my sister, her friend, and I were there for over 2 and a half hours and didnt catch a single fish. Fortunately, I caught many cases of the giggles and burst out laughing over nothing. You know those times, right?

Then when we went to an even smaller pond like maybe the size of three bathtubs, that is almost guaranteed a catch, I still couldnt catch anything. On top of that, I stood ontop of an ant hill with the most vicious ants that bit my feet gazillions of times.

Finally, we gave up and then men working there said they caught three fish and we could use those and we agreed. Two minutes after, my sister´s friend actually caught one. I am not afraid of fish, well I didnt think I was, until I tried to hold it by myself for a picture. I let go by accident and the squiggling fish went up into the air and I grabbed at it again because surely we didnt want the ONLY fish we caught to go right back where it came from. So I reached for it, and someone snagged the slippery (slippy) fish against the stomach of her friend so that it couldnt get away.

No need to say, then came the howls of laughter from me. Only something like this would happen to me of course. My life is never boring, and I guess I really am a Clutz like my mom always calls me. Oh well. It was fun and the fish was delish (after I picked out every single spine from it) !!
Sorry I totally thought I could rotate them on here. Perhaps you
will have to tilt your head.

My lovely sister

This is the SMALL pond, that I COULD NOT catch a fish in. Sigh.

This was the hysterics, AFTER I  let go of the fish and recaught it in the air.

Washing and gutting los Truchas (trout)

I ate almost all of it. Rico!

The Second Beach of Guanacaste

Doesn´t this look like it came from a Magazine?

My Uncle running on the hot sand.

The root system fascinates me. It´s a wonder that the
palm tree can stay up at all!

My family and friends

You know how in the summer when it´s really hot,
you can see the heat waves come off of the asphalt?
Well here I tried to take a picture of the heat escaping from
 the sand.

My Aunt Priscilla and I! Yes I look really white, dont remind me :P

Surfers taking advantage of the waves

Can you pick out which two are Canadians? :P

Being traditional and smart. Cooking food over a fire at the beach. Smart.

Sisters Forever <3

Round Two with the cars except this time the OTHER car
is broken!!

This is a locust. It looks like it is big enough to eat me.
When they put on the floor and it started to fly around,
Unfortunately, I turned into a complete and total girly girl and
as far away from the bug as I possibly could. Not one of my
best days, but would you want that on your shoulder?

My new friend Josi :)

Guanacaste Part: I lost track.

Huge tree trunks!!
These photos are also back from my beach trip in
Guanacaste. I apologize for my laziness to upload them. But it is my vacation, right?
Church in a town in Guanacaste

A brightly coloured house that caught my eye!

Scenic Coastline

I look like such a WHITE tourist. Sigh.

The hill that defeated our poor little car.  This time singing "I think
I can, I think can" didnt work. No matter if we tried front ways,
or going reverse up the hill the tires spun and we went no further.

Mango Tree ( my new bestfriend)

Just a cute view I noticed.
